Create or join a team and log miles together. 

Every mile logged by any team member counts toward the team total and helps to plant even more trees. Set a shared team goal (friendly competition within the team doesn't hurt!) 

How Teams Work: 

• Anyone can create or join a team during registration. Scroll through the waiver and check the box, if you agree.
• Click on the "Join/Create Team". Once you're on the team page, create a team name.
• If you're joining a team, select the name of the team you're looking for from the drop down list. There is also a search function to find a team. 
• Other friends can join your team by selecting Join/Create Team when they register.
• Team totals are tracked automatically. Every mile logged by a team member is added to the full team total.
• Team standings appear on the Team Leaderboard so you can see your group's collective impact (and also a way for you to motivate your team to log more miles!)

What Counts Toward the Team Total: 

• All individual miles logged through "Submit Virtual Results" are automatically added to: 
• Your individual total
• Your team total 
• You don't need to do anything extra. just log your miles and they'll count toward your team 

Assign a Team Captain (if you want to) 

• A team captain keeps everyone organized and engaged. Encourage others to join. Team captains can also remind teammates to log their miles regularly. Every mile counts toward your total.

Fundraising: 

Want to take it a step further? In addition to logging miles with your team, you can also fundraise individually through peer-to-peer fundraising to support REACH GREEN.

• Peer-to-Peer Fundraising: When you register, simply select the “Become a Fundraiser” option after completing your registration form. This will create your personal fundraising page, which you can share with friends and family to invite donations.

• Direct Donations: Anyone can also contribute by clicking the Donate button on the event homepage and following the prompts. No registration required.

• Every Contribution Helps: Whether it’s $10 or $100, every gift supports REACH GREEN’s mission to preserve green spaces and build climate-resilient communities.

• Easy to Share: Post your fundraising page on social media or send it directly to friends to spread the word.

About Teams: Joining a team means you’re logging miles together for camaraderie and motivation. Teams do not raise funds collectively. Fundraising happens through each individual’s page.
