Weather Contingency Plan/Refunds
The safety of our participants, volunteers, staff, and spectators is our top priority. Iredell County Parks & Recreation, in partnership with MRT, reserves the right to delay, postpone, or cancel the event due to unsafe weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.
Weather-Related Postponement or Cancellation

The event will be held rain or shine unless severe weather poses a safety risk (e.g., lightning, high winds, flooding, extreme heat).

In the case of severe weather on race day: The start time may be delayed allowing conditions to improve. If conditions do not improve, the race may be postponed to a later date (if possible) or canceled for safety reasons.

Any changes to the event schedule due to weather or other emergencies will be communicated via:

Refunds

No refunds will be issued in the event of postponement, cancellation, or if a participant is unable to attend.

All registration fees are considered a donation toward the event's operational costs and mission to promote community health and wellness.
