Registration fees are nonrefundable and cannot be deferred to another year. Optional registration protection is available during registration through RunSignup.
If the event is canceled, suspended or modified because of weather, public safety concerns or other conditions outside our control, refunds and credits will not be issued.
Participant-to-participant bib transfers are available for the in-person events through RunSignup through June 2, 2027. There is no transfer fee.
Participants may switch between 10K-distance events through May 16, 2027, using RunSignup’s event-transfer process. There is no event-transfer fee.
Yes. Virtual registration closes May 16, 2027, at 11:59 PM.
Virtual participants may complete their 10K anywhere between May 31 and June 30 and submit their result through July 5. Participant materials are scheduled to be mailed around May 25 to addresses within the United States.
There is no Virtual Kids Run.
Yes. Another person may collect your packet by providing your name at packet pickup.
Race-day packet pickup will also be available from 6:30 to 7:55 AM near the start and finish area.
Yes. Gear check will be open from 6:30 to 11:00 AM.
All belongings must be placed inside the clear plastic bag provided by the race. Backpacks and other personal bags will not be accepted.
Registered participants may change their requested shirt size through June 2, 2027, using RunSignup’s Giveaway Management tool.
After June 2, shirt exchanges will be available at the event from 8:05 to 11:00 AM, subject to availability.
Strollers are permitted. Participants with strollers should begin at the back of their assigned corral.
Anyone traveling the course independently must be registered. Children who are not registered may accompany an adult only while riding in a stroller.
Yes. Please keep the volume low enough to hear instructions from race officials, volunteers and public-safety personnel.
Participants competing for prize money may not wear headphones in accordance with USATF competition rules.
Service animals are permitted in accordance with ADA requirements. Pets and emotional-support animals are not permitted.
Guide runners are allowed within the Visually Impaired Division. Registered athletes will receive instructions for registering their companion or guide.

The half-mile Kids Run begins at 7:40 AM and is recommended for children age 10 and younger. Registration is $5, and participants must complete the course within 15 minutes.
The Kids Run is untimed, although a display clock will be available. Each registered child receives a Kids Run bib and finisher medal. Shirts are not included.
An adult may accompany a child without registering. Kids Run packets follow the same pickup procedures as 10K packets. Race-morning registration is not available.
Participants must be at least 21 years old and present valid identification to receive the complimentary post-race beer.
Share your unique referral link after registering. Once three people register through your link, you will receive $30 back. Each additional referral earns another $10 back.
Referral rewards apply to registrations completed before June 6, 2027, and cannot exceed the amount you originally paid for registration.
During the event, found items should be taken to the check-in tent. Anyone looking for a missing item should check there.
After race day, contact aharris@columbusrunning.com regarding missing belongings. Unclaimed items will be held for 30 days and may then be donated or discarded.
