When you arrive on Race Day...

If this is your first race ever, the first thing to do is find a place to park! We have many parking options for you shown near the race site at Genoa Park

Once you park, come on around to Genoa Park. You will see a start/finish inflatable arch down on the causeway, and a tent or two with tables set up near the base of the stairs. That is the registration area, and that is where you will go before the race to pick up your bib and T-shirt.

From then until the race start, it's time to socialize, get stretched out, and if you have to, use the restroom (Pro Tip: Please do not underestimate the length of the lines that will form! They get a bit crazy long about a half hour before the race begins!)

Then everybody will gather near the start/finish line about 10 minutes before the race for a brief thank you from the race organizers and a few quick instructions from the race timer. Then you're off and running (or walking!)

When should I arrive to Genoa Park for Race Day?

Plan on arriving about an hour before the race begins. That way, if you hit an unexpected delay, there is plenty of margin built in to remove any stress of a race day. You'll also get plenty of time to chat with friends, both old and new!
