Step Into History with the Easy Company Campaign

Follow in the footsteps of Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division, on a virtual journey through one of World War II’s most legendary campaigns.

Your journey begins with Easy Company’s grueling stateside training before crossing the Atlantic to England and into Europe. Trace their path from the dramatic midnight drop behind Utah Beach on D-Day, through the hard-fought fields of the Netherlands, and into the freezing woods surrounding Bastogne, Belgium, where they famously held the line during the Battle of the Bulge. The journey culminates with Easy Company’s final push into Germany and on to Berchtesgaden, home of Hitler’s famed Eagle’s Nest.

Along the way, you’ll test your own resolve while honoring the soldiers whose story began on Georgia’s Currahee Mountain and the motto that came to define them: “Currahee” — “We Stand Alone.”

The 730-Mile Course
Go the full distance. Individuals or teams will virtually complete 730 miles, following Easy Company from the United States to England and across Europe. Along the way, you’ll virtually visit 11 significant locations from their WWII journey—from stateside training and D-Day preparations in Aldbourne to the battlefields of France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, before crossing the finish line in Germany.

The 103-Mile Course
Follow the entire journey in a more achievable distance. Individuals or teams will virtually travel the same route from the United States to Berchtesgaden, with each leg represented by a shorter mileage segment. You’ll experience all 11 locations and the full story of Easy Company—from running Currahee Mountain to reaching the Eagle’s Nest—while completing a 103-mile challenge.
