Check In/Start Line Volunteer Duties
-Volunteers will check in racers as they arrive
-Once racer is checked in volunteers will give racer their racer bibs
-Volunteers will let racers know where to place bibs (front of boat, back of boat, and back of pfd)
- Volunteer shift 4:30p.m.-8:00p.m.

Details

Racer Counter Volunteer Duties
-Volunteers will keep track of racer boats as they pass by
-Volunteers will let racers know what lap they may be on
-Volunteers will let racers know when they should head for the finish line
-Volunteers will check off racers as they pass the finish line
-Volunteers will write down what time each racer passes the finish line
-Volunteers will assist with collection of race signs after their list of racers are finished
-Volunteer shift 6:30p.m.-10:00p.m.
***When racers are going by, Volunteers may need to ask racers for their bib number***

Start Line Volunteer Duties
-Volunteer will help racers get their boats down the Marina ramp and into the water
-Volunteers will help keep the flow of boat traffic moving as racers get staged in the water
-Volunteer shift 5:00p.m.-8:30p.m.

Details

-You must be able to bring your own kayak
-kayaker volunteer will assist by being on the water throughout the race at certain corners for periods of time to make sure everyone is doing okay
-kayaker volunteer will also sweep the end of the race to make sure all racers have safely finished the race

-Volunteer will help racers get their boats out of the water and up the ramp at the Marina
-Volunteers will help keep the flow of boat traffic moving as racers exit the water
-Volunteer shift 8:00p.m.-11:30p.m.
