Race EXPO (aka EXPO Packet Party Crew) High Priority

Details

The expo will run in conjunction with packet pickup so participants can browse vendor/sponsor tents while they wait to get their packets. Volunteers will assist with setup, hospitality for sponsors/vendors, on-site registration, packet pickup, tear-down, and answering questions throughout.

Expo Date and Time: Saturday, November 22, from 8-2. Volunteer shifts: 7am-3pm, 7am-11am, and 11am-3pm. Lunch and snacks will be provided for volunteers who work the ENTIRE Expo (7am-3pm).

If you want to work the ENTIRE Expo, please sign up for each of the 2 time slots individually.

All volunteers earning money for Young Life camp are required to check in AND check out of their volunteer position in order to receive their camp money. No exceptions.

Race Day Registration and Packet Pickup (aka Packet Party Crew) High Priority

You must be 12-100 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will (1) assist runners/walkers who have not previously registered to complete registrations before the race begins and (2) hand out packets and shirts to newly registered participants as well as those who were unable to pick them up prior to race day, as well as help direct traffic and answer questions (6-9 am). Check in at Volunteer Headquarters inside the Marriott at 6 am.

All volunteers earning money for Young Life camp are required to check in AND check out of their volunteer position in order to receive their camp money. No exceptions.

Kids Run Fun-Maker Crew High Priority

You must be 16 or older to volunteer for this task.

At least 4 more volunteers needed.

Details

Volunteers will help line up children at the start line, lead them in stretches, set up the turn-around point for each group, find the male and female winners in each heat for prizes, and give out goodie bags to all participants.

Check in at Volunteer Headquarters inside the Marriott at 7:45 am.

Details

Course volunteers will be assigned in singles or pairs, with no more than two people at each course location, while water stations are a great option for families, teams, and larger groups who want to volunteer together.
If you are a group and want to run a hydration station, please email debbie@hamiltonturkeytrot.com. Each person in your group will need to register as a volunteer and complete a waiver. But we need to know that your group is adopting a specific spot on our course.

Crash and Dash Team Medium Priority

You must be 10-70 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Volunteers will carry cymbals, stands, and drumsticks to the designated Crash and Dash location on the course. They will hand out drumsticks and collect them after participants have crashed a cymbal during the race (8-10:30am). Meet at Volunteer Headquarters inside the Marriott at 7:45am.
