Pre-Race Volunteers

Water Haul High Priority

At least 13 more volunteers needed.

Details

Water Hauls start BY Mid June, and continue into July. You MUST to sign up before then in order to receive haul date notifications. We haul to Ross Pass, Bridger, Baldy, and the 1/2 Way Aid Stations. We will try to get 2.5 gallon jugs that will weigh 20 pounds each. A pack is needed for the Baldy and 1/2 Way to Baldy Hauls. Bridger can be done without a pack. We usually fill both Baldy and the 1/2 Way station in two big hauls, and a few small group hauls. We start by hauling Baldy water to the 1/2 Way station. That way people can carry on their own from there to Baldy. After we fill the 1/2 Way Station, we move to Bridger where we hope to make one or two massive hauls. By signing up you will receive an e-mail as to WHEN we are going to make a haul. You can decide if you can make it. Haul dates will vary. Volunteering and Hauling water is very rewarding and puts you on the HIGHEST priority category for getting into the run the FOLLOWING year. We depend on and appreciate all volunteers. Volunteers must be able to carry 20 pounds in steep terrain. Prefer 16+
