Packet Pickup Assistant High Priority

Details

This person will help a FONA staff member check in runners the afternoon before the event. Duties include using a simple app on a FONA device to look up people's names, check them in, and hand them their bib number and/or t-shirt. The ability to lift boxes of t-shirts is helpful but not required. This shift includes time to set up and break down the packet pickup station.

Race Day Volunteers

Course Marshal High Priority

Details

The Course Marshals will cheer on runners and make sure they know where the course goes. You will get a ride or walk to your assignment. Standing the whole time is expected or, if you prefer to sit, we can provide a chair. A few course marshals will be assigned to hand out water at the water station.

Check-in Assistant High Priority

Details

This person will help check people in for the run or hand out t-shirts to registrants. After the race has begun, the assistant will help sell the t-shirts. For selling the shirts, familiarity with the Square app is helpful but we can also train you. The ability to lift boxes of t-shirts is also helpful but not required.
