Details

Help a FONA staff member check in runners the afternoon before the event. Duties include using a simple app on a FONA device to look up people's names, check them in, and hand them a t-shirt. The ability to lift boxes of t-shirts is helpful but not required. This shift includes time to set up and break down the packet pickup station.

Check in all racers and volunteers at the R Street entrance. Due to the government shutdown, only racers and volunteers are allowed on the Arboretum grounds for this event.

Details

Cheer on runners and make sure they know where the course goes. You can drive or walk to your assignment. Standing the whole time is expected. But if you need to sit, we can provide a chair or let us know if you bring your own. A few course marshals will be assigned to hand out water at the water station.

T-Shirt Handout and Sales

Details

Hand out t-shirts to registrants and after the event starts, help sell the t-shirts. For selling the shirts, familiarity with the Square app is helpful but we can also train you. The ability to lift boxes of t-shirts is also helpful but not required.
