Virtual Runner FAQs
Once you register for the virtual event, the next step is to complete the 5-mile distance and earn your finisher medal. The 5 miles that you register for can be completed at any location of your choice, and with the Race Anywhere option can even be completed indoors on a treadmill! You have from April 19th until April 25th to complete your event.
You are able to print your personalized bib from your original registration email or by logging onto RunSignup, navigating to Profile > Upcoming Events > Manage Registration. The option to print your personalized bib is available for Virtual Run ONLY.

Easy! Click on Results, Submit Virtual Results, and then Look Up your registration in order to submit your own results
No, you don't have to download the RaceJoy App. You can run the 5 miles using your own timekeeper and then submit your results as described above if you so choose. If you use the app on your own Race Anywhere course, it will cue you when you've reached each mile, and when you finish 5 miles, you can submit your time right from the app. Just remember to press Start when you begin your run!

After expenses are paid (t-shirt, medal, shipping, etc.) all proceeds will go to Valley Forge National Historical Park for visitor experience and programming enhancements. You are making a difference for those who will come to experience the park and its awesomeness long after you logged your miles.
No, submitting results is not required, but seeing your name on the virtual results board is priceless! For those who don't wish to enter the time for your 5-mile journey, you can still indicate that you completed the 5 miles without providing an actual time. We'll just assume you're stealth....
The easiest way is by downloading the RaceJoy app because of the audio cues it will give you; and once you complete the 5 miles, your time can be submitted right then and there from the app. Other methods include using a good old-fashioned stopwatch or any tracking tool such as Garmin, Strava, Runkeeper, etc.
