FAQ's
Usually we leave the weather predictions to the professionals, but typically temperatures range between 47-69 degrees Fahrenheit in late November in Charleston. We’ve been blessed with clear skies for many of the past ten years and we’re hoping for more of the same in 2025!
Just like the postman, we run rain or shine. So cross your fingers for sun and we’ll see you out there!
Unfortunately, with the growing size of the Turkey Day Run we are no longer able to accommodate race day registration or packet pickup. The last day to register is in person at the Expo on Wednesday, November 26 from 9am to 6pm in Marion Square Park. If you are unable to pickup your packet at this time you may select to have it shipped to you for an additional fee (must select this option in the registration process before Nov. 1st) or a friend or family member may pickup your packet for you.
YES!! Strollers are allowed on the race course. You must sign up in the “walkers with stroller” category during registration and line up behind the walkers. You are NOT allowed to run with a stroller and you can not line up in any other corral other than the ORANGE corral (last corral in startline).
No. Scooters or any other wheeled device other than a stroller or pull behind wagon is strictly prohibited from the race course. You will be asked to exit the race course.
Unfortunately, dogs are not permitted on the race course per the City of Charleston. They are welcome in the square before and after the race.
Don’t worry – it’s not too late! You can register in person at the Expo on the day prior to the race or on the morning of the race. The Expo tent is located
on the Northeast side of Marion Square, (337 Meeting Street). In-person registration dates are as follows:
Weds. Nov. 26th: 9 am – 6pm

There is no longer race day registration or packet pickup. Please be sure to register online or in person at the EXPO. A family member or friend can pickup your packet for you.
