OPEN WATER PRACTICE INFO
Open water swim starts can be an anxiety filled mess. But the more you do them, the less it feels like that. We’re thinking practicing the swim with your friends will make it easier to do with strangers on race days. You will get a coached and kayak supported group swim practice! Swim Course is set with buoys to simulate race experience. Non member registraiton is welcome – participants must pre-register by 6PM the Friday before workout. (note there is an entry fee to enter State Park)

PLUS: Bike rides are available after each open water swim for a $5 drop-in fee, and GPX routes are available for all registered to attend ride.
Distance for route selection on no-drop pace group rides of 14-16mph will be as follows:
-20 to 30Mi March 18th to April 15th
-30 to 40Mi April 29th to May 20th
-40 to 50+Mi June 3rd to September 9th
A drop pace group of 16+mph is usually available and dependent on athletes in attendance.
Please prep your bike before getting in the water.
