Tour de Blueberry

Sat June 21, 2025 Burgaw, NC 28425 US

Maps and Cue Sheets

IN 2025, we are offering four routes: A 10-Miler, a 22-Miler, a metric half century and a metric century. These courses are open to traffic. Courses will be well marked with tape and signs, but, it is ultimately up to the rider to know the course.

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED AND MUST BE WORN FOR ALL DISTANCES.

PLEASE NOTE: Event officials reserve the right to close the bike course at any time for safety reasons. If temperatures are above 90 on June 21, event officials may issue a cutoff time of 11:30AM to start the second loop. There will be intermediate cutoff at 1:15PM at Sand Hill AME Church. Riders who do not meet these cutoff will be transported back to Burgaw Middle School.  All courses close at 3:00PM.

ALL RIDES START at 8:30AM. Participants are expected to line up by rolling pace in the parking area near the BMS Gym by 8:20AM for announcements and the air horn start.

A Group (Fast) – Typically rolling 22+ mph
B Group (Strong) – Typically rolling 18-20 mph
C Group (Moderate) – Typically rolling 16-18 mph
D Group (Leisurely) – Typically rolling 14-16 mph, with a no-drop policy

This ride is considered a neutral start until you get out of downtown Burgaw and onto Old Savannah Road. Riders must stay behind the lead car (Town of Burgaw Police Chief) for about two miles.  This is a low-speed roll through town. Consider it a warm-up. Pretend you are in a parade. DO NOT pass the lead car. DO NOT USE the oncoming lane of traffic at any time.
