You're making waves and we want to reward you for it! We want to recognize the Swim for Grand Traverse Bay swimmers who go above and beyond, so this year we're rolling out WaveMaker Rewards. WaveMaker Rewards is an opportunity for all registered swimmers to qualify for exciting giveaways when you reach specific fundraising milestones. Here's how it works.

We've set four fundraising milestones above and beyond the findraising minimum:

• Milestone #1 - $500
• Milestone #2 - $750
• Milestone #3 - $1,000
• Milestone #4 - $1,250+

When you reach a fundraising milestone, you will automatically receive a unique giveaway(s) donated by businesses who share your passion for protecting the bay. Leading up to the event, we'll announce the giveaway(s) for each milestone and post them on this page.

The deadline for eligibility is Friday, July 24, 2026, at 11:59pm.

Please note, the deadline for eligibility is two weeks prior to the event so the generous businesses donating giveaways have enough time to prepare.

  • Eligibility: Swimmer who fundraises the most between August 1 and August 7, 2026
  • Giveaway: To be announced

All giveaways will be distributed at the event on August 8, 2026. Swimmers must be present to receive giveaways.
