NEW DATE: Thursday, May 29 Fountain Fletcher District.

On Thursday, May 29, we are excited to host runners from all over Central Indiana for our unique, high-energy running event! This RUN(317) event is designed to showcase Fountain Fletcher District during a 3.17 mile run/walk. Starting at 7pm, our participants will travel a course through the bustling atmosphere of the beautiful neighborhoods, starting and finishing at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Inc.

 

Once they have completed their run/walk, we will be encouraging all participants to experience the bars, restaurants, and shops of the Fountain Square area. These events are designed to promote the neighborhoods of 317 and we are excited to show participants a glimpse of what District has to offer!

Event Info

• Number of Participants: 1,900 participants, 100 volunteers
• Event Time: Start/Finish will be at Keep Indianapolis Beautiful Inc. from 7:00 pm-9:00 pm, with clean-up finished by 9:30 pm.
• Race Time: The race will begin at 7:00 pm completed by 8:30 pm. See information below or accompanying map for specific information regarding your area of the course.
• Partial Road Closures: Participants will be running and walking on one half of the road around some of the course. Some areas will be temporarily closed. If you have plans on race evening, please be aware that alternate routes may need to be taken that night.

Street Closures

The 3.17 mile event the evening of Thursday, May 29^th  will need to have some temporary street restrictions.

• START: Fletcher Ave from NE Alley St to Shelby St (4:00pm – 9:30pm)
• Shelby St from Fletcher Ave to English Ave (6:55pm – 7:25pm)
• Southbound lane of Shelby St. from Fletcher to Alley 725 (6:55pm – 8:45 pm)
• Calvary St from English Eve to Fletcher Ave (6:55pm – 7:25pm)
• Fletcher Ave from Calvary St to Pine St (6:55pm – 7:30pm)
• 65 S Ramp to Fletcher (6:55pm – 7:35pm) (closed until last participant crosses Fletcher NB on College)
• Pine St from Fletcher Ave to Elm St (6:55pm – 7:32pm)
• Elm Street from Pine St to S College Ave (7:00pm – 7:32pm)
• S College Ave from Elm St to Bates St (7:00pm – 7:40pm)
• Bates St from S College Ave to Shelby St (7:00pm – 7:45pm)
• S Pine St from Bates St to English Ave (7:00pm – 7:46pm)
• English Ave from S Pine St to Calvary St (7:00pm – 7:47pm)
• Shelby St from Calvary St to English Ave (7:00pm – 7:55m)
• Eastbound lane of English Ave from Shelby St to Spruce St (7:05pm – 7:57pm)
• Spruce St from English Ave to Prospect St (7:10pm – 8:05pm)
• Westbound lane of Prospect St from Spruce St to Shelby St (7:10pm – 8:10pm)
• Shelby St from Prospect St to Hosbrook St (7:10pm – 8:15pm)
• Hosbrook St from Shelby St to Leonard St (7:10pm – 8:17pm)
• Lexington Ave from Leonard St to NE Alley St (7:10pm – 8:22pm)
• NE Alley St from Lexington Ave to Fetcher Ave (4:00pm – 8:25pm)
• FINISH: Fletcher Ave from NE Alley St to Shelby St (4:00pm – 8:30pm)
