Description
TAT Summer Swim Series is designed specifically for beginner to beginner-intermediate triathletes who are preparing for Tulsa Tri on Sunday September 7th, 2025 or their first Tall Chief Open Swim Challenge race on Sunday, September 14th.
The TAT Summer Swim Series offers a valuable and practical training progression for triathletes that builds swimmers' technique, efficiency, endurance, and confidence in open water through structured and supportive instruction. With an emphasis on stroke technique through targeted swim instruction, this clinic combines the motivation and consistency of group workouts with personalized feedback to ensure participant progress and engagement.
Over the course of six weeks, swimmers will develop foundational skills and practice in both pool and open water settings. The curriculum includes a blend of technical instruction, endurance building, and mental preparedness for open water racing.
The program also offers video analysis to provide individualized coaching points and access to 12 swim workouts to support progress between sessions.

Target Audience: Beginner and beginner-intermediate triathletes preparing for their first open water swim event. Participants should be able to swim 200yds continuous freestyle by the first session.
Participant Cap: Max participants is 12 and we need a minimum of 8 participants to have the clinic

- Pool: Thursday July 31st
- OWS: Tuesday August 5th
- Pool: Thursday August 14th
- Pool: Thursday August 21st
- OWS: Tuesday August 26th
- Pool: Thursday September 4th
Location: Pool swims will be at the YWCA Patti Johnson Wilson Center, 1910 S Lewis Ave. Tulsa, OK 74104 and OWS Keystone or Lake Heyburn depending on availability
You must be a TAT member to participate in clinic.
