Winter Forge Ruck March

Description
Embrace the Freeze. Forge Your Fire. The AOD Winter Forge Ruck March on January 24, 2026, is a 10k crucible through snow, ice, and sub-zero winds—a deliberate test of resilience where loaded 35 lb rucks drag across frozen trails in pre-dawn darkness. “Conquer the Cold” is the battle cry that transforms ordinary men and women into unbreakable warriors, stripping away excuses and building grit.
Strangers become brothers and sisters on the trail, sharing stories and silencing inner doubts amid punishing winds, emerging with a brotherhood and sisterhood forged in adversity and resilience that strengthens work, family, and faith.
After the ruck, drop your pack for a family gathering with hot grill food (chili, sandwiches, and endless coffee), kids’ games, snowball fights, music, and epic stories of triumph. Bring your family to witness what you're made of—men and women alike—when choosing hard things together; the trail breaks you open, the fire rebuilds you stronger.
Timeline: Ruck weigh-in 0500–0530, start 0600; families arrive 0800 for coffee/donuts, Family Fun Walk 0900–1100, followed by surprises. Spots are limited—*RSVP family members (free for family participants of Fun Walk) via email* and register now to conquer the cold!
Essential gear: Insulation layers and waterproof shell, hand warmers, proper footwear, micro-spikes for ice and snow, and high-calorie fuel. You MUST bring a backpack with a "dry weight" of 35 pounds. Email with questions on gear.
