The Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA) is thrilled to be a charity partner of the 2026 United Airlines NYC Half Marathon. Experience the bright lights of New York City as the United Airlines NYC Half returns on Sunday, March 15, 2026.  The 13.1-mile journey begins in Brooklyn, making its way over the historic Manhattan Bridge and FDR Drive. Runners also get the unique opportunity to run through Times Square (only 1 of 2 times that it is closed each year!) and finishing in Central Park.

Fun fact: The United Airlines NYC Half is the only race to ever run across the Brooklyn Bridge!

When you choose to take part in the SFA Marathon Team, you are choosing to join hundreds of others who want to make a difference for sarcoma patients and their families. Funds raised through our race team drive innovative research for sarcoma. As an official charity partner, we have limited guaranteed entries for the race. Requirements:

• Join SFA's Race to Cure Sarcoma marathon team before December 31, 2025
• All runners must commit to a minimum $1,500 personal fundraising goal

*Please Note: SFA provides access to a guaranteed entry for the United Airlines NYC Half. NYRR requires the participant to pay a race registration fee ($135 for NYRR members; $160 for non-members).

Already have guaranteed entry, but still want to support Sarcoma Foundation of America (SFA)?  
If you have secured your own bib through other means, but still want to fundraise for a good cause, we welcome you to join us! Runners with their own race entry must commit to fundraising $750, and will receive a marathon team t-shirt.
