The AvanceCare Dashing Thru The Glow

Wilmington Downtown and It's Go Time, welcome you to the Dashing Thru The Glow 5K and 1 Mile.

Join us as we bring together the Christmas spirit and family fun along the beautiful Cape Fear River.

Run or walk through the lights of downtown Wilmington, enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, meet Santa himself, and stay for the Holidays on the Water Drone show!

The elves will be at the finish line passing out Finisher Medals to all the good little boys and girls who finish the 5K and 1 Mile. 

Donate a new unwrapped toy for Toys for Tots, and get $5 off your registration.

THE CAUSES

The Open House Youth Shelter helps displaced, abused, neglected and vulnerable youth. Children who are in need of a safe place receive shelter, food and clothing. Personal growth is also encouraged through counseling services, educational opportunities, life skills building, and recreational activities. 

Toys for Tots helps bring the joy of Christmas and hope by collecting new unwrapped toys and distributing those toys to less fortunate children at Christmas.
