Kayak Race 2023

Join the Lillington Area Chamber of Commerce and Cape Fear River Adventure as we host a Kayak Race on the Cape Fear River!

Bring your friends, family, or just yourself for an afternoon at the Cape Fear River. Fun for all ages! Food at Lost Paddle Pizza and live music! Bring your lawn chairs and beach blankets 😊

Free t-shirt with adult pre-registration before Sunday, April 23rd. 

Schedule of events:

3:00 PM: Event starts & registration opens

3:30 PM: Kayak Race registration ends

4:00 PM: The race starts

* Race kayaks, paddles, and life jackets will be provided with registration.

* No personal vessels allowed

--Advanced Male Paddler (age 18 to 59) - $40.00 (free T-shirt with Registration if you register before April 23rd).
--Advanced Female Paddler (age 18 to 59) -$40.00 (free T-shirt with Registration if you register before April 23rd).

--Recreational Male Paddler (age 18 to 59) - $40.00 (free T-shirt with Registration if you register before April 23rd).
--Recreational Female Paddler (age 18 to 59) -$40.00 (free T-shirt with Registration if you register before April 23rd).

--Senior Division Race (age 60+)- $35.00 (free T-shirt with Registration if you register before April 23rd)

--Youth Division Race (Age 12yrs- 17yrs old) - $20.00 

--Kids Division Race (Age 6yrs- 11yrs old) - $20.00
