State Beach (Finish Area) Shuttle to Start Line

(Marathon/Half Marathon Only)

We've added a Premium Shuttle Pickup & Parking option for 2027. If you select this option during registration, you'll park directly at San Buenaventura State Beach and board your shuttle from there. After finishing the race, you'll be just a short walk from your vehicle—no need to wait for or board a post-race shuttle.

Please note, this Shuttle Option is extremely limited due to the State Beach's parking capacity. Your parking pass is included with this selection but it must be picked up in person during Packet Pickup on Saturday. No exceptions will be made.

**The State Beach has informed us that vehicles parked without a valid pass will be subject to citation. If you purchase this option and do not attend Packet Pickup to collect your parking pass, you will be required to pay for parking separately on race day using the QR code payment system located throughout the parking lots. Parking fees paid on race day are not refundable through the event.

Parking for the 5K and Kids 1K Start

There is very limited parking in the surrounding Pierpont neighborhoods and it’s not recommended. Do not park on Harbor Blvd. and walk in, PD will be ticketing.

*There are NO shuttles for the 5k Start. If you park Downtown (where there is free parking) it is approx. 1.5-2 mile walk to your start line.

Spectator Shuttle Service

New for 2027: We no longer recommend parking at San Buenaventura State Beach on race morning. Because the beach is now being used as a participant shuttle and parking location, the parking lots will be likely full by 6:00 AM.

Instead, we recommend parking in Downtown Ventura (approximately 1.5 miles from the finish line) or at Pacific View Mall (approximately 2.5 miles from the finish line) and utilizing our free spectator shuttle service, which will operate continuously from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM on Sunday.

Plaza Park Downtown Spectator Shuttle Pickup/Dropoff Location

Pacific View Mall Spectator Pickup/Dropoff Location

Although the shuttle ride itself is less than 10 minutes, we strongly recommend allowing an additional 30–45 minutes for parking, boarding, shuttle travel, unloading, and walking to the finish area. This is the first year of the new shuttle system, and building in extra time will help ensure you arrive in time to cheer on your runner as they cross the finish line.
