Book It! Friends of the Waterford Library 5K Run

Join us Saturday, May 2, 2026, for the Book It! 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk in support of the Waterford Township Public Library.  This family friendly event welcomes kids and pets.

5K Run starts at 10:00 AM 

5K Walk starts at 10:15 AM

1Mile Fun Run start at 10:15 AM   

Entry fee includes a commemorative event t-shirt, finisher medal and chance to win gifts from our sponsors. The 5K will feature timing and results!
*Register by April 24th to guarantee a t-shirt.

Packet pick-up will start at 9:00 am on race morning.  Check in will be at The Warming House, 5050 Civic Center Drive, Waterford, MI 48329. On the Civic Center Campus by the pond.   

Event also includes an online Silent Auction of items donated by sponsors. Bidding is open to the public regardless of signup for the 5k event. All items will be on display at the Waterford Township Public Library at the following dates/times.
