The Father’s Day 5K & 1 Mile Walk benefits the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at GBMC, where about 400 babies each year receive care after being born too small, too sick, or too soon. The NICU team works hand in hand with other GBMC departments to ensure each infant receives comprehensive, compassionate care.
This year, your support does even more! All participants who register or donate by June 12, 2025, at 11:59 a.m. EST will be automatically entered to win a Disney World Family Adventure, including:
- $1,000 in Disney gift cards
- A 4-night stay at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress
- Round-trip airfare for four to Orlando, FL

In Person registration opens at 6:30a.m. at GBMC (South Chapman Building, 6545 N Charles St)
The 5K begins promptly at 8a.m., the 1-mile walk begins immediately after.
Awards are announced following the race.

Held every year on Father's Day, GBMC's 5K brings the community together on GBMC's campus in support of our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). GBMC's NICU, one of the largest in the area, cares for more than 400 babies annually and is nationally recognized for groundbreaking research in neonatal intensive care.
