The 22nd Annual Steve Haydu St. Patrick's Day Lo Tide Run is back again in Carolina Beach on Saturday, March 14, 2026. Join thousands of people as we walk to help New Hanover County residents battling cancer. Come decked out in green and your St. Patrick's attire. You can walk or run the 5K or 10K.

PARKING
Parking is available at any open, legal parking space in Carolina Beach.  Please Note: The town of Carolina Beach charges for parking in specified lots.

TO REGISTER
Before the Race:  Click on the Sign Up button in the top right.
Race Day:  Online registration closes 10 minutes before the race start.  At packet pickup and the race, we will have a QR code available for you to register on your phone.  We strongly encourage you to register prior to coming to the race -- even if it's in your car!

ABOUT THE STEVE HAYDU LO TIDE RUN FUND
The Steve Haydu Lo Tide Fund, Inc. is driven by a single goal; to raise money for New Hanover County residents struggling financially due to a cancer diagnosis.  As an all-volunteer Board of Directors, the group strives to help as many local residents as possible.

All proceeds from registration fees, sponsors, and individual donors are distributed to cancer warriors in financial need. We hope to empower the community to come together to support and honor local cancer warriors through a fun and inspiring 5k and 10k race. Come decked out in your green St. Patrick's Day attire.
