Your 5K registration includes a craft beer (21 and up) and a custom medal that doubles as an ornament for your tree and a festive fun filled experience.  Santa Strut participants will receive a custom medal that is also an ornament.

Yes, leashed and well-behaved pets are encouraged to join in the fun!  Please be responsible and clean up after your furry friend! If you'd like to run with a rescue, please arrive early and visit the Ruff Love Rescue station. Ruff Love brings adoptable friends that you can run/walk with during the event, but doing so is on a first come basis!

The post-race celebrations are at Fiddlin' Fish Brewing, walking distance from the finish line.

Yes, we will have gear check.

We love our walkers! We do ask walkers to be aware that course time limits are race specific. For road races, we ask for a 16 min./mile pace. If you fall below this pace, we can unfortunately no longer guarantee course support—which is paramount for your safety. Aid stations, medical support, portable toilets, and road closures will start to become unavailable to participants. The local police and race organizers will ask you to reroute to a shorter version of the course or move up onto the sidewalk where you will be required to obey regular traffic laws.

5K participants will have a water stop located at mile 1.5 at Research Parkway and Rams Drive. See map HERE.

Running strollers are allowed, but must have a minimum of 6″ wheels.

Winston-Salem is the perfect spot for this race – and for your next adventure! The City of Arts and Innovation is an awesome place to run a great race and have a great time! While visiting Winston-Salem there will be plenty of activities for the entire family.

We do not allow, bicycles, inline skates or any means of transportation other than running, walking handcycle or wheelchairs. Race Director reserves the right to reject any entry or to remove any participant from the race course without explanation.
