10th Annual Pecan Grove Turkey Trot, "FOREVERLY"

A decade ago, Everly's adoption journey inspired the formation of the Turkey Trot event and The Thankful Ones organization.  

• 5K Competitive & Non-Competitive Timed Trot (chipped bib provided)
• 1 Mile Kids Timed Trot (12 and Under - (chipped bib provided)
• 1 Mile Adoption Awareness Walk (no bib)
• Fun, fun, fun:
  • Kids Zone - Inflatable Fun
  • Music by DJ SB
  • Vendor and Sponsor Row - food, drinks, and more! 
  • Prizes for all participants. Special prizes for Male & Female 1st-3rd place in each category.

We're excited to share the impact of your participation in The Thankful Ones Pecan Grove Turkey Trot! Your involvement directly supports local foster children and adoptive families in the Greater Fort Bend County and Houston areas.

The funds raised are specifically used for our Adoptive Family Grant Award Program. These grants help families with the significant costs associated with child adoption, including attorney fees, state-mandated fees, and court costs. Payments for these grants are made directly from The Thankful Ones to the invoicing entity, such as the family's adoption attorney or directly to the courts.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our past, present, and future Trotters, Donors, and Sponsors, The Thankful Ones has awarded over $200,000 in adoption assistance grants to over 50 adoptive families and foster children since 2022.
