9-11 Memorial Paddle on Lake Hartwell

This will be an easy 3-mile lake paddle with support from a flotilla of boats. We stop at a small waterfall halfway for refreshments. Bring your boats, kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddle boards and join us to honor the sacrifices made on 9-11-01. The 9-11 Memorial Paddle is a unique way to honor the lives lost and the sacrifices made on and since 9-11. Almost 14 years later, more than 7,000 FDNY Firefighters and first responders have been treated for an injury or illness related to the attacks on 9-11-2001.

If you are going to participate by boating fill out the section under boating.  You can get your shirt at the check in before the paddle or let us know if you need other arrangements to get shirt. If you just want to get a t-shirt fill out the information under boating and contact us to let us know how you want to get your T-shirt. 

After you sign up there is an area for additional donations, don't add to that unless you want to give more than the 30 dollars for the event. 

Your participation will support the Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and Wild Hearts Equine Therapy. Wild Hearts is a local organization that helps people with physical, intellectual and emotional challenges, including at-risk teens, veterans, victims of abuse and many others who are recovering from traumatic experiences.
