Medina Half Marathon & 5K

Event Details: Event starts and finishes on the Historic Medina Square. The course runs through our beautiful city, around the crushed gravel trail of Lake Medina, through scenic neighborhoods and then runners head back up to the square.  Runners can choose from the Half-Marathon or 5K race. This race, in its inaugural year, will be part of the Ohio Challenge Series and is being held by the Medina County Road Runners. Water Stops, Sports Drink & Gu available to all runners, and food and fun at finish line. Half-marathon runners will receive a gender specific tech shirt and 5K runners a cotton shirt. All funds will go directly to the MCRR and will be used towards our Scholarship programs for local Medina County student athletes.  We are also supporting Patriot Runners and Stand Up For Downs.

**Half Marathon is limited to 1,000 runners**

Awards:All Half Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative medal. Awards for the top three male and female overall finishers and top three in each age group for both races. There will also be a top masters division and top Medina County service employee award (City Council, police, fire, city/county employee, etc.)
