HAIR OF THE DOG BEER MILE RULES

1. Each competitor drinks four beers and runs four laps around our 400M loop (start with chugging a beer, then run a lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap, then beer, then lap - finish).

2. Beer must be consumed before the lap begins within the transition area known as the BEER ZONE. The transition area is a 9-meter zone

3. Beer will be provided by Atypical Brewery.  All participants must be 21+. You will be required to show your driver’s license or proof of age. NO ID, NO RACE. NO EXCEPTIONS. All participants will be given a wrist bracelet that must be worn during the event.

4. The race begins with competitors lined up on the mile starting line, drinking the first beer in the transition zone described in the step above. Competitors can walk/move in the transition area while drinking, but all beer must be consumed in the transition area before setting off to run a lap.

5. Competitors may “"toss your cookies." There is a one loop penalty for this offense. Thankfully you don't have to consume an extra beer, just run an additional 1/4 mile. Vomiting more than once during the race still only requires one penalty lap at the end.

6. You must prove that all beer was sufficiently drank. This can be achieved by tipping the empty beer over your head after each chug to verify an empty vessel or by showing one of the beer tenders in the transition area and getting the thumbs up from them
