Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's "27th Annual Turkey Trot" presented by Southern Oxygen & Welding Supply and hosted by Florida SouthWestern State College!
Come join Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity's Annual Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning. This family-friendly 5K event is located on the scenic campus of FSW College, Punta Gorda Campus. This event has been a beloved tradition for friends, family and fitness enthusiasts for over 27 years - and the only race where you can chase a Bicycle Riding Turkey! Join us as we wobble before we gobble!
Proceeds and donations for this event go to help bring affordable housing solutions and the dream of homeownership to families in Charlotte County. We couldn't do it without you!!

Important Information:
Youth Registration: Ages 3 & Under - Free (If race shirt & medal are wanted, please sign up under Fun Walk)
Ages 4-14 years - Only $25 (Price will be adjusted at checkout)
All participants will receive a finisher medal and race shirt (if registered by the deadline) Race Shirt Deadline is Sunday, October 19th, 2025
Age Group Awards are awarded to the top three male and female participants in each age group below:
Male / Female 9yr & Under Male/ Female 45-49 years
Male / Female 10 - 14 years Male / Female 50-54 years
Male / Female 15-19 years Male / Female 55-59 years
Male / Female 20-24 years Male / Female 60-64 years
Male / Female 25-29 years Male / Female 65-69 years
Male / Female 30-34 years Male / Female 70-74 years
Male / Female 35-39 years Male / Female 75-79 years
Male / Female 40-44 years Male / Female 80 & Over
Overall Awards will be awarded to top male and female in the following divisions:
Overall Masters 40+ Grand Masters 50+ Senior Grand Masters 60+ Veteran Masters 70+ Youth 14 & Under

November 25th & 26th - Early Packet Pick-up from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM - Charlotte County Habitat for Humanity Office, 1750 Manzana Ave, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
November 27th - Packet Pick-up & Day of Registration from 6:15 AM - 7:15 AM - FSW College Charlotte Campus, Building O Cafeteria, 26300 Airport Rd, Punta Gorda, FL 33950
Please note that FSW College has a no pet, no smoking policy. We appreciate your cooperation in following their guidelines.
**RACE REGISTRATION IS NON-REFUNDABLE AND NON-DEFERRABLE**
Per USATF rules, gun time is used to determine prize money winners and time bonus recipients. Tag time (chip time) will be used to determine all age-group

Since 1987, Charlotte County Habitat has helped over 560 Charlotte County families achieve the dream of home ownership and this year we plan to help an additional 29. Charlotte County Habitat homes are sold at an affordable price to qualified applicants who meet our program criteria. Our applicants must have a need for affordable housing, must have the ability to pay their mortgage and must have a willingness to partner with Charlotte County Habitat. Our affiliate operates four resale stores, one in Punta Gorda, two in Port Charlotte and one in Englewood. These stores generate revenue which helps purchase materials needed to build homes for families in Charlotte County.
