Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We truly appreciate your continued support of Move At Your Own Pace (MAYOP) and have looked forward to engaging with you each season—especially this one!

However, due to unforeseen circumstances, we regret to inform you that this year’s Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk has been canceled.

We encourage you to still get outside and move at your own pace—whether walking or running—to continue promoting cardiovascular health and wellness in your own way.

All registration fees and donations will be fully refunded.

While this year’s event is paused, we’re excited to share that MAYOP is expanding! We’re working to bring you not only future race opportunities but also direct access to health and wellness professionals.

Stay tuned for our next big step: a wraparound wellness day designed to support your journey toward total well-being!

Move At Your Own Pace, LLC., in collaboration with the Florida Department of Health, proudly presents the 3rd Annual Juneteenth Freedom Day 5K Run/Walk! This event is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate freedom and liberty during the Juneteenth holiday while promoting cardiovascular health and wellness. Participants will take in the stunning views along the city’s Riverfront Esplanade as they navigate the 5K course. A portion of the proceeds will benefit local organizations that support health initiatives and/or provide scholarships for students!

Packets can be picked up on race day - Saturday, June 21st beginning at 6:30 am @ the Riverfront Esplanade. 

Race Perks: All participants receive a custom race shirt, finishers medal, access to the post-race party, and eligibility for age group awards. 

Awards: Following the race will be the Awards Presentation. Award categories are as follows:

Age Group Awards: 1st, 2nd and 3rd place for each male and female in the following age ranges:
