Newcastle lines up 608 surfboards for the Guinness World Records. Newcastle has broken the Guinness World Record for the most surfboards laid end to end on a beach. A total of 608 surfboards were lined up along Nobbys Beach, Australia, during the 30th anniversary edition of the Surfest. The previous Guinness World Record stood at 398 surfboards, i.e., 783.5 meters of lined up boards, and it was achieved in 2014, at Port Noarlunga Beach, in Adelaide.
Now we, in Mexico Beach FL, will try to put this beautiful beach on the World map!Will you show up to be part of it or will you wait to read about it and scream 'I should have been there!' It is going to be one of those day - should have been, could have been....didn't!

We ask that everyone who wants to be part of this Guinness World Record to sign up. A small sign up fee of $5.00 will be donated to Sea Turtle Conservancy, Gainesville Fl. Signing up will help us and the Guinness World Record Agent assigned to our event know how many people are coming to participate.
