2025 Thanksgiving Wattle

Donation Goal: $30,000

GC Food Pantry/Wattle History

In the first 11 Wattles, we have raised $193,843 in combined Food and Monetary Donations for The Grove City Food Pantry. Last year we raised $30,039. We have become a major annual fund raiser for the Grove City Food Pantry. We have done so via Wattle Race Proceeds, Corporate Donations and Participant Donations.

This year we want to continue to promote the value of monetary donations instead of, or in addition to canned food donations. Donating monetarily actually gives the Grove City Food Pantry more purchasing power (they can buy at Mid Ohio Food Bank, often at a substantial discount). Having liquid funds also gives them flexibility in leveling on hand inventories to respond to varying needs. Simply put, a $1 donation is more beneficial to them than a $1 canned donation.

This year's Goal will be $30,000. Thank you.
