About Hope Squad and the Bridge & Bloom Project
Hope Squad has been a lifeline in our local schools — equipping students with the tools, language, and courage to talk about mental health and suicide prevention. It’s a peer-to-peer program that empowers students to look out for one another, to notice when someone is struggling, and to take brave steps toward help.
Thanks to generous community donations, Hope Squad programs have taken root in Montague, North Muskegon, and Whitehall High Schools. We’ve seen firsthand how these squads open doors for conversation, compassion, and connection — helping to save lives and bring healing to hurting hearts.
Now, as we look to the future, we’re expanding that mission through the Bridge & Bloom Project, a local nonprofit inspired by the same heartbeat of hope — but growing it into something even more complete and community-driven.
Our vision is to bridge the gaps that hold students back so they can bloom into confident, healthy leaders.
Through Bridge & Bloom, we’ll continue supporting Hope Squads while also introducing programs focused on:
Physical wellness through nutrition and fitness education
Emotional and mental resilience through workshops and mentorship
Leadership development and community service
We believe that when a student’s mind, body, and heart are supported, they have the strength to thrive — not just survive.
🌱 Your donation helps us continue funding Hope Squads and launch new Bridge & Bloom programs that nurture whole-person health and growth in schools across our community.
