For half a century, the North American Vasa has brought people together to celebrate Nordic skiing, biking, and winter trail sports on the Vasa Pathway and in the Pere Marquette State Forest. Your donation keeps this legacy alive and ensures our community has access to premier winter sports events for generations to come.

Our Mission

The North American Vasa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to promoting winter trail sports in Northwest Michigan through the Vasa Festival of Races.

Every gift, big or small, helps us:

  • Deliver world-class Nordic ski and fatbike racing in Northwest Michigan

  • Inspire more people to discover and enjoy winter trail sports

  • Protect and expand trails through stewardship and improved accessibility
