Ada County Sheriff's Office Deputy Tobin Bolter was tragically killed in the line of duty on April 21, 2024. Deputy Bolter was just 27-years-old, with seven years of dedicated law enforcement service. He lived every day with purpose, treating others with respect and kindness, and his memory remains an inspiration to those who knew and loved him.

In recognition of his lifelong passion for running and athletics, the kids' duathlon was renamed in his honor in 2024, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire young athletes.
