The Human Potential Running Series recognizes the tremendous efforts provided to Mueller State Park from the 501(c)3 non-profit organization "Friends of Mueller State Park." We recognize that use of these public lands and trails is a privilege and not a right, and those trails have been formed in part by the sweat equity of organizations like Friends of Mueller State Park.
The "Friends of Mueller State Park" (FoMSP) is a non-profit 501c3 public charity that raises money to fund youth programs, park improvements and interpretive exhibits to enhance the experience of every visitor who enters the park. All members are volunteers and the FoMSP has no paid staff. All donations and grant money supports youths programs and park projects. Mueller State Park’s annual budget is funded by user fees, not general tax dollars. Donations to FoMSP are used in partnership with Mueller State Park to benefit the public in areas such as education, trails, habitat improvement and facility management.
We ask that you please consider donating to Friends of Mueller State Park directly through their website, or by donating during the registration process for this event. 100% of all donations collected by Human Potential for The Friends group will be forwarded over to them at the conclusion of the event.
