Description
This family-friendly event includes a 5K and Fun Run kicking off on the breathtaking grounds of Nemours Estate. The route will take runners, walkers and rollers through some of the stunning Versailles-inspired formal gardens, including whimsical fountains, towers, and monuments.
Proceeds from the event will support the Nemours Children's Compassionate Care Fund, which restores the health of critically ill and injured children wherever the need is greatest.
Participants of all ages will enjoy activities in the Runner’s Village, including music courtesy of our wonderful DJ, sponsor booths, an exciting VIP Kid Zone with games and inflatables, mascots, photo opportunities, food and refreshments.
We expect 1,000 runners, walkers, wheelchair athletes and their cheerleaders to join us and hope to see you there! Individuals and teams are welcome. All 5K and Fun Run registrants will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher’s medal.
Day of Events
8:00 - 8:45 a.m.: On-site Registration
8:00 - 11:00 a.m.: Event activities in the Runner's Village
9:00 a.m.: 5K and Fun Run start
9:45 a.m.: Stage announcements and awards ceremony
10:45 a.m.: Closing announcements
11 a.m.: Event ends
