Camping at CR24 Rules
Campground opens for guests to setup at 2:00pm Friday, March 6. Please check-in first to get instructions on where to set up. While we'd like to be done with check-in by 6pm, someone will be around for late arrivals until 9pm.
Bathrooms are available in the building onsite and 3 porta-potties at the North end of the capground. Please dispose of all cooking graywater in the graywater disposal bin by the porta-potties.
Quiet Hours are from 10pm-6:00am Friday evening into Saturday morning.
No alcoholic beverages allowed.
Fires: For everyone's safety, please adhere to the following regulations, which will be strictly enforced:
- All fires must be contained within an above ground vessel such as a firepit, solo stove, etc
- Firepits must have a heat sheild underneath if on grass - do not scorch/kill the grass! (Heat shields are available online or you can use something like ceramic tiles or bricks)
- Do not place firepits on trail
- Do not leave fires unattended
- Do not dump ashes; all ashes must be hauled away
- Bring your own firewood - we will not have any for sale.
Water is available onsite, however the local water has a high iron content. While it is potable, you may prefer to bring your own drinking/cooking water.
Space: Keep tents, canopies, tables, chairs, etc at least 5 feet away from the trail
Secure all tents and canopies with stakes and/or weights. We recommend at least 10 lbs per leg on a 10x10 canopy. (5-gallon bucket halfway full of water from the creek works great and doubles as fire pit safety!).
Tent Camping
Car/Tent camping will be FREE! We'll have 2 tent camping zones, all along the course for you to choose from. Sites will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Not into camping, but still want to set up your own personal aid station? Reserve a personal aid station space to secure your spot!
RV Camping
RV Camping has limited availability and priority will be given to relay teams (limit one RV per team please) and volunteers. Water fills and Sewage pump-out will be available if needed on an on-call basis for a fee. Reserve your RV space by adding it to your registration in the store. New for 2026: RV sites will be located to the north of the parking lot, in the picnic loop. Large trailers and A-Class motorhomes will need to stay in the overflow parking area by the baseball/softball fields.
Hotel Information
Room blocks will be available in January.
