Description
A 5K Run through New Haven's beautiful Edgewood Park. Designed by Frederick Law Olmstead, this 120 acre park is one of the city's gems. The out-and-back course follows park roads and walking paths, past gardens and ponds, and following the West River.
This race is being held by the New Haven Age Group Track Club in memory of their beloved coach of over 30 years; William Thompson. The club has developed, nurtured and promoted Track and Field excellence among youth of all abilities for over 48 years.
Race Day Schedule (Rain or Shine)
- 7:30 AM Registration and Packet Pickup Opens
- 8:20 AM Kids Fun Run Start
- 9:00 AM 5K Start

5K Run - $25 through March 29th, $35 March 30th through Race Day
5K Run Age 17 and Under - $20
Kids Fun Run - $10
