Description
Packet Pick Up: Thursday July 24 from 4:30pm-7:30pm at the farm. We will also have optional packet pick up on race day from 6:30am-7am; however, we recommend picking up on Thursday if you can. Our weekly farmers market will also be taking place during Thursday's packet pick up so you can stock up on carbs and fresh foods for race day!
Race Day Parking: Parking will be available in the West Parking lot. Follow the parking signs. Please arrive and park by 7:00am. We do not offer gear check, daycare, dogcare, or hold any responsibility for your personal items so please plan accordingly.
Kids dash: The kids dash will start promptly at 7:15am in front of the building. Please gather around and cheer for our kid dashers!
Fat cow 5K run will start at 7:30am in the front of the building at our arched entrance. There will be a mandatory race briefing at 7:25am.
Timing Services & Photography: This year Agee Race Timing will be recording results and capturing finisher photos.
Course Marking – the course will be marked with orange and pink flags and white flour paint. We would like to thank Central Arkansas Master Naturalists (CAMN) volunteers for helping to clear & mark our trails before race day.
Aid station – There will be one aid station near the halfway point (1.5ish miles) before entering Old Camp Trail on Camp Robinson Road stocked with water & Never Second (electrolytes). Arkansas summer is here so please come hydrated to the race! We will have ice cold water, but preparation is key to avoiding heat exhaustion. Drink plenty of water on Friday.
Finish Line – You will receive your cowbell medals at the finish.
Post Race Awards & Raffle, Saturday Market, Goat Yoga, Beer Shed, U-pick flowers, & more!
Our Post Race Awards & Raffle begin at 8:30am under the big white tent next to our ‘Beer Shed’ near the finish line. In order to win a raffle prize you must be present so please stay after the race if you’d like to win a prize. Our Saturday Market opens at 8am selling fresh Arkansas grown produce, homemade baked goods, jams & honeys, & more local farm products so be sure to stop by after & stock up. Goat Yoga takes place at 10am with some of our wild, fun-loving goats so bring your mat if you'd like to join! ($10 donation). The SJ Beer Shed will also be open after the race if you’d like to use your race day drink coupon, and we encourage you to explore the farm. Unfortunately, this year a herd of hungry deer have eaten most of our ripe watermelon in the patch, but we will have U-pick flowers available after the race.
Race Day Tanks: All orders for our race day tanks needed to be submitted to our vendor by July 1 so if you registered after 7/1 and would like to purchase a tank, we will have a limited supply available for $15 after the race. Please note that we cannot hold any tanks after race day so if you ordered a tank but cannot attend the race, you need to pick up during packet pick up on Thursday.
Course Information: This is a trail race with typical trail hazards including rocks, roots, and uneven terrain. This is not a 5K PR course. If you are not familiar with trail racing, please take it slow and walk sections for safety. Trail shoes are recommended but not necessary. In single track sections, please pass runners to the left. If someone falls, please stop and help them up.

The proceeds from this race go towards continuing St. Joseph's operations as a nonprofit after the devasting fire on 3/19. We are so grateful for your support in joining us next Saturday. It's going to be an udder-ly good time, some may even consider it LEGEN-DAIRY!
