Strolling for Alzheimer's Caregivers Fundraiser Walkathon

The Doris Marie Jones Foundation, Benefiting Alzheimer's Caregivers, presents "Strolling for Alzheimer's Caregivers" Fundraiser Walkathon.  In partnering with the City of Prichard, the objective of our walkathon is a community event uniting Alzheimer's Caregivers and families around the Gulf Coast to come together as one, to relax, have fun, meet others that are going through the same journey of being a Caregiver and to provide education on coping with being an Alzheimer's Caregiver.

We want our caregivers to know that we are here for them and will try to do what we can to help ease each step of their journey as an Alzheimer's Caregiver.

Proceeds raised will go towards our Foundation's mission which is to assist Alzheimer's Caregivers by providing Educational Awareness, Health and Fitness Initiatives, and Supportive Service activities, enhancing the quality of Life for individuals impacted along the Gulf Coast Area.

The walk is 2 miles in length and the course will be on paved trails and will work well for strollers. 

We look forward to seeing you for this beautiful walk that will help spread awareness and show support for Alzheimer's caregivers throughout our community.
