SWRC Member Code of Conduct
- I will show respect for my fellow SWRC members at all times;
- I will show respect and appreciation for the volunteers who give their time to help SWRC and/or SWRC event(s);
- I will not yell, taunt, or threaten physical violence upon another SWRC member, a volunteer, or event spectator;
- I will not use abusive or vulgar language, or make racial, ethnic, or gender-related slurs or derogatory comments at SWRC events;
- I will not make unwanted sexual or physical contact with other SWRC members;
- I will abide by race rules and engage in fair competition, which includes anti-doping compliance, no course cutting, or other means of gaining a competitive advantage that is considered cheating when participating in SWRC races or other races where you may represent SWRC by wearing a club-branded singlet, shirt, uniform, etc.;
- I will report violations of the Member Code of Conduct policy to the Board in writing.
Members with a criminal history of violence or with a legal restraining order against them by another member may be barred from SWRC membership and participation in all SWRC activities.
Members found to be listed on a sex offender registry, convicted of a sex crime, or caught having, creating, or distributing child pornography will be immediately barred from SWRC membership and all participation in SWRC activities.
Complaints lodged against SWRC members (or other runners at a SWRC sponsored event) shall be managed using the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Complaint Resolution Process.
