Our immediate goal is to schedule your sessions as soon as convenient for you and facilities/weather allow. Please look for these (4) messages in your INBOX and read them in their entirety. It will help us to maximize our time together and your investment in your training.

INTRO PAK:  Form/Gait Analysis + Training Knowledge
The purpose of this initial pak is to assess and identify biomechanical(form, gait, footstrike) & physiological (ROM, strength/weakness) limitations impeding your ability to optimize your running efficiency, economy, and speed.

During our ~3-hours together (two meetings: 2-hrs., 1-hr.) your coach will also discuss personalized recommendations to improve your athletic performance-- along w/ training practices, injury prevention principles, nutrition/hydration guidelines, and shoes/gear choices that can amplify, or undermine, your potential as an athlete.  

*** If the athlete is under 18yo, a parent is required to attend both Intro Pak sessions. Any additional coaching paks are parent optional. ***

BEYOND YOUR FIRST PAK:
Improving your athletic performance is a PROCESS…  it’s maximizing whatever genetics you possess, intelligent training choices on/off the track/turf, and proper/consistent application of newly acquired skills.  There are no miracle cures or single workouts wonders-- it’s “stacking” numerous effective training results for long-term success/sustainable peak performance.

FOUNDATIONAL DRILLS:
We’ll start w/ customized FORM/GAIT Drills for your specific bio-mechanical needs (form, speed, strength, stretching/range of motion)-- each based on our INTRO PAK findings.  NEXT we’ll incorporate personalized DYNAMIC Drills-- to improve running economy/form efficiency (by creating new muscle memory/strength/flexibility) and coordination.  The result is increased speed and endurance, with less energy expenditure and risk of injury.

HOW TO’s of TRAINING SMART:
We’ll also discuss/demonstrate personalized TRAINING STRATEGIES to develop a more EFFICIENT APPROACH to your training.  We consistently train SMART… not consistently hard.

ATHLETE-CENTRIC SUCCESS:
The athlete drives their rate of improvement and competitive success.  Over 85% of your progress will occur outside of our sessions-- away from your coach.  You will get fitter and run/sprint faster, if you choose to do the drills correctly and consistently-- AND apply your expanding training knowledge to the decisions you’ll make during your unsupervised workouts and races/games.  

OUR #1 OBJECTIVE IS…
to TEACH you key training principles and develop your personalized “self-coaching” skills as quickly as effectively as possible, so you can begin to achieve your goals now— on your own, at less cost, AND with fewer injuries. (We are TEACHERS-- not just rep/set counters or lap timers.)
