Apply stickers from OCRRA on each filled garbage bag so they can be picked up!

Volunteers close intersections, set up blockades and direct runners along the race route. Must be at least 16 yrs. old.

TRAFFIC CAPTAINS: Race Day May 2, 2027, 9:00am-12:30pm
Volunteers will supervise traffic controllers for a one mile segment and must recruit at least TEN (10) volunteers to work with them on their mile.
*This position earns special volunteer monetary incentives for the 501c3 of their choice!*

Volunteers assemble at the finish line to help guide runners across the finish line and through the finish line area.

Volunteers assist with setting up banners, barricades and signage at the start/finish area. Some physical labor required.

Volunteers will assist in tearing down finish line refreshment area.

Report to Tim Walczyk at Finish Line Area at 10:45 and wait for their instructions. We will start breaking down in anticipation of closing the finish line precisely 2 hr 40 mins after the race starts.
Will require some lifting, taking down barriers, etc.
Clipping of the zip ties and folding up banners is a large part of the task. Bringing your own snips (would be a plus, but not required).
Patrol the finish line chute and help clean up debris after everything is finished!
11:00 a.m. till 1:00 p.m.

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Ride along the runners (one male lead and one female lead and one sweep) to monitor safety and notify police/command post of issues. You must be familiar with the race course before race day. You must attend the course ride through the day before the race.
