Freedom Run 2022

Start training for the 2nd annual FREEDOM RUN in beautiful Hilltop Lakes, Texas. This race will feature a timed 10k, timed 5K, and timed 1 mile fun run over some challenging, scenic terrain. This will be a great race to challenge yourself as a runner and try to get a personal best or to invite some friends on a friendly, fun-filled event. 

This Patriotic themed race, held in Hilltop Lakes Texas, offers a "chip" timed race for all of the race distances. The course will take place on a beautiful resort-style, lakeside paved roads, and some dirt/gravel roads for the 10K runners, which is perfect for all levels. Depending which distance you choose to run, you will run along side up to 5 different lakes along your route. The route will feature some hills so bring your A-game if you want to get a PR. Leashed dogs are allowed and so are strollers for those parents that want to enjoy the run with little ones. 

Cool Swag?  Absolutely!  Register Early Bird Registration, which guarantees a race Packet including a commemorative uniquely designed race shirt and a awesome race medal to hang on your trophy wall. 

The event will begin on 7/02/2022 with a 7AM start time with the 10K race. The 5K will start at 7:15AM, and the 1 Mile Run will start at 8:30AM. Along each route there will be water stations, a "cool-off" station, plus an event photographer on hand to make this the most memorable run this year. An award ceremony will begin at 9:05AM to recognize overall winners, as well as age group winners. 

The profits from the race will go toward creating and enhancing family-themed amenities here in the Hilltop Lakes Community. The day’s events do not end at the Finish line! There will be a parade, vendor booths, food trucks, and a firework show. We also have an 18 hole golf course, 18 hole putt-putt course, 5 lakes for fishing, Tennis courts, a disc golf course, and lots of places to explore.

Packet pickup will be available at 2 different times and locations: 

1. July 1st from 5pm - 7pm at the Hilltop Lakes Lodge (Arrowhead Lodge) MAGNOLIA ROOM - Hilltop Lodge Drive, Hilltop Lakes, TX

2. On the day of the race from 6am - 6:45am at the start line in front of the Hilltop Lakes Adventure Golf - Holster Hwy, Hilltop Lakes, TX
