WAIVER FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS AND GUARDIANS, PLEASE SIGN: Participant (a child for which I am the parent, guardian, or acting on behalf of the parent or guardian) desires to participate in RunVermont // Beach Bites: Youth Fun Run in Burlington, VT. I acknowledge that running has inherent dangers and can be a dangerous sport and I assume all risks on behalf of Participant and myself if I accompany Participant. I hereby, for Participant and Participant's heirs and executors, waive, release, and hold harmless RunVermont and all organizations and persons associated with RunVermont // Beach Bites: Youth Fun Run, including but not limited to RunVermont; the City of Burlington; sponsors; the officers, directors, shareholders and/or members, agents, or employees of RunVermont, the City of Burlington, and sponsors; and all medical and other personnel assisting with the event from any and all claims, liabilities, and rights or causes of action of whatsoever kind or nature, including but not limited to those arising from negligence on the part of any of the aforementioned persons or entities, for damages for any and all injuries to Participant, myself, personal property belonging to Participant or myself, or for damage caused by anyone (including Acts of God), in connection with participation. I hereby certify that: (1) Participant and myself, if I accompany Participant, are in good health and (2) Participant and myself, if I accompany Participant, have trained to run the distance of the event for which Participant is entered. I have read the registration information for RunVermont // Beach Bites: Youth Fun Run. I understand that I may not sell or give Participant's bib to another runner. Anyone found participating with another person’s number will be disqualified and both people will be barred from future RunVermont events, including but not limited to, RunVermont // Beach Bites: Youth Fun Run. I further understand that the presence of extreme weather conditions may cause cancellation of the event. I also hereby grant full permission to RunVermont, and/or agents authorized by them, to use any photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose at any time without compensation. I also acknowledge that media may be present at the event and grant full permission for media to use photographs, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose at any time without compensation.
