I acknowledge that participating in a race is a potentially hazardous activity and I should not participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I assume any or all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the affects of the weather, traffic, and course conditions. I waive any and all claims which I might have based on any of those and other risks typically found in participating in a race. I acknowledge all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Knowing these facts, and in consideration of your accepting my entry fee, I hereby waive and forever release any and all rights and claims for damages or injuries that I may have against RunSignUp.com, Kids‘ Chance of Pennsylvania, Inc., all municipalities in which the race is held, the race director, race timer, volunteers, and sponsors including their agents, employees, assigns, or anyone acting for on their behalf. This release includes all injuries, claims, and/or damages suffered by me before, during or after the event. I recognize, intend and understand that this release is binding on my heirs, executors, administrators, or assignees.

I agree to abide by all decisions of any race official relative to my ability to safety complete the race. In the event of an illness, injury or medical emergency arising during the event, I hereby authorize and give my consent to the race director and volunteers to secure any treatment deemed necessary for my immediate care. I agree I will be responsi-ble for payment of any and all medical services, transportation, and treatment rendered to me.

I grant permission to Kids’ Chance of PA to use any pictures or likenesses of me secured at the event in any way they see fit without review, restriction or compensation. I understand my entry fee is nonrefundable. I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS WAIVER. (If the participant is under 18 years of age, their legal guardian must sign.)
