Kid's Run - recommended for children 10 and under
Description
Join the Hamilton Township High School cross country program as they co-host a 5K road race with the City of Obetz, the 4th Annual Storm the Fortress 5K. The race will be held at 9:00 am on June 8 at the Fortress Fields in Obetz. There will also be a kids run (recommended for children ages 10 and under) that takes place shortly before the 5K at 8:50 am. All proceeds are for the benefit of Hamilton Township Cross Country athletes. The district is very excited to provide an event that ties in the school with the community.

IMPORTANT: If you are planning to wait to register until race morning, please note that ALL race day registration at the race site will be credit card only!

Swag
All registrants will receive a unique Storm the Fortress 5K t-shirt (while supplies last) and finisher medal to commemorate this year's event! This year's shirt is pictured below. Register by May 30 to guarantee your shirt size and save $5! The registration cost will increase to $40 on May 31, and shirts and shirt sizes are first come first served for those registering on May 31 or afterwards.
Early Packet Pickup
There is NO early packet pickup for this race. All packet pickup will take place on race morning at the race site, starting at 7:30 am. Participants are encouraged to arrive early on race morning, and all participants MUST be parked by 8:45 am (more details in "Parking" section below).
Parking
For race day, there is plenty of parking at Fortress Obetz. To get to Fortress Obetz, enter 4175 Alum Creek Dr, Obetz, OH 43207 into your GPS. This is the Obetz Municipal Office. This will have you enter the complex off of Alum Creek Dr at Recreation Trail, just north of the third traffic light north of Interstate 270. Follow Recreation Trail past the municipal office all the way back to Fortress Obetz. Please note that all participants and spectators must be parked by 8:45 am, as police will shut down all course roadways at that time. Please plan accordingly.
Event Timeline
7:30 am - Race Day Check-In and Registration Begins. Please note that ALL race day registration will be credit card only!
8:45 am - You must be parked, all roads will be closed!
8:50 am - Kids Race
9:00 am - Adult Race
10:00 am - Awards Ceremony
